Paul Smith's - The College of The Adirondacks

Another one of my favorites things Adirondack is Paul Smith's College, the only four-year degree institute of higher learning in the Adirondack Park. I had the fortunate experience of serving as an interim VP for a year or so and had a wonderful time. The college is like no other since it is located on lovely Lower St. Regis Lake, in Paul Smith's, New York. The school used to be known primarily for its hospitality and forestry programs, although the curriculum offerings are now greatly expanded. It was so interesting to work there and witness the mix of hospitality majors in their chef attire hanging out with the forestry majors in their wood cutting chaps and Carhartts! It is wonderful and one of my favorite places in the Adirondacks.
