Adirondack Back Country Report - Yeeha!

Yesterday's foray into the Adirondack back country was epic. We chose to leave Mt. Marcy to the weekend visitors. Instead, we took a trip up a nearby mountain and down through some of the nicest tree skiing I've done in a long time. The skin up took more than three hours through the twenty inches of fresh powder snow. The glorious turns down through the trees made the climb worth it. The Adirondack back country is in the best shape of at least three years. We received an additional six inches of snow overnight and today - it just keeps getting better!
