Wall Street Journal Goes Wild for the Adirondacks

The wild and crazy Adirondacks are the topic of another Wall Street Journal article today. This time, the focus of the famed financial periodical is the Wild Center - the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, located in Tupper Lake, New York. The Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, its other moniker, is the result of a great deal of hard work from many people. The article is a good one; it provides succinct background information about the Adirondacks and also mentions the efforts of Betsy Lowe, who worked hard on this project for many years. The author seems to get it and sums up the odd nature of the Adirondack Park nicely:
"It's a rare model of man coexisting with nature, since many communities and private lands can be found within the park's boundaries."

Yes it is.
