50 Years and Going Strong!

No, this is not a post about me, although it could be.
This weekend, Whiteface Mountain celebrates its 50th anniversary. The festivities started yesterday with a great marketing idea; retro lift prices of $30.00. Tonight is the big hoopie-doo, Ski Sweater Ball. Everyone gets to haul out their old or new Dale of Norway ski sweaters and party hearty at the mountain. Mother Nature is cooperating with fresh powder, so skiing shall be sweet on the Olympic Hill today, although I won't be in retro attire.
