A Fine Week for Building in the Adirondacks

The weather cooperated once again and the first floor deck was completed and treated with rosewood oil last week.

Ed mixed it up this past weekend and did some "fine" work, making notches and mortises on posts. This prep work allows the posts and beams to fit together like tinker toys when assembled.
